Welcome to Brady McElyea's Online Auction page! His mom, Trista,  had two rambunctious boys and was expecting her third in March 2010. Her pregnancy went along without any concerns, so it was a shock when Brady was born with many severe disabilities. The financial toll that she and her family has taken prompted some of the ladies in the online group  she's a part of to help by creating an auction. So welcome! Below you will "meet" Brady and see items that have been generously donated by friends and businesses with love. All items are on ebay, but you can see a list of everything here as well. 100% of the proceeds will go to Trista and her family.

This is all about me: Brady *Bean* Patrick McElyea. I was born into a very special family who welcomed me with open arms. I was born March 4th 2010 with unknown/unexpected rare health conditions. Since my birth, I have had 5 sedated procedures, 2 of which were surgeries with more to come. Since I have many different health conditions, I see a lot of specialists. They include a cardiologist for my heart defect, a gastroenterologist for my low food intake, a neurologist for my under-developed brain, an ENT for hearing impairment and inner ear drainage / formation problems, an ophthalmologist for weak eye muscles and loss of sight, a pulmonary doctor because I have to use oxygen for my under-developed lungs, a sleep study pulmonary doctor because I have apneas, and many more specialists like genetics, urology, developmental pediatrician, and a cranial facialist- the list goes on! On top of all these specialists, I go to physical therapy twice a week, vision therapy once a week, and I have three days of speech therapy, occupational therapy, and hearing therapy.

My family does not qualify for services to cover any of the accumulating medical debt. Despite having great insurance coverage, the costs of co-pays, prescriptions, adaptive equipment, specialty formula, 4 levels of hi-tech chromosomal DNA testing and specialty doctor consultations... along with parking fees, gas, and many days off for daddy or papa to go to these appointments with me and mommy are adding up. I do not have a specific diagnosis yet, but this is just the easiest way to put it....I am labeled as deaf and blind, and I also have multiple congenital anomalies of an unknown syndrome. Now aside from all that...I am extremely cute and lovable!
